What's the best way to get your inverters statistics through the internet?
I've just had a Sungrow inverter (SH5K-20) installed and while the panels, inverter and battery are working perfectly, the information I get from the inverter through the network is just awful. It's completely half baked software that just doesn't work properly.
I've used the mobile app (iSolarinfo home), and connected the inverter to my router as per their instructions but then when I use it through my network I get 0 statistics. I have to directly connect to the inverter over wifi on my phone to see the info.
So they are replacing the app with iSolarcloud, a cloud based service I can access through the web on mobile or PC to see my statstics, this does actually provide the info I want, so great!
Except....That it doesn't provide the one metric I want the most, the real time power output! Sure it's there, but I can't see it unless I'm standing physically infront of the inverter. On the App/Cloud/Whatever I can select from Day/Month/Year and Total, and everything shows up fine except Day. If I click on Month, I can see each days usage. Then I click back on day and a lovely little graph showing exactly how much power I'm generating appears and then just as suddenly disappears!
I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge browsers, with the same issue in all. I have also tried on different computers to no avail. Their website is of no help for this issue but if they are watching this sub then they might speak up. I have rung their office in my country and get no one after choosing whatever options they give so I left a message but have not heard back anything yet.
