Thoughts on picture framing solar on concrete roof

I have a cement tile roof in SoCal and the contractor proposed picture framing the solar. What are the pros and cons to that vs. traditional rack above tile.?

It will be 26 panels and cover the complete side of that west facing roof panel ~800sq ft. Only tile will be on fire setback. It would be composite under panel to eves. No framing on bottoms side of array.

They recommend iq7x’s but will do solar edge, same cost for either. They said they’ve been replacing a ton of optimizers last year so they have been steering people to Enphase, but they offer both.

Solar Supports

Solar Supports I'm looking at installing a solar system at our off grid cabin this spring and I'm trying to come up with a good way to get the panels up high enough to catch decent sunlight. The roof of the cabin is not an option as there are some trees blocking it but I do have a shed that I figure I'd be able to brace the supports to, I can't use the shed roof either as it's facing the wrong direction. A couple neighbors have systems which they've put on poles that go up sort of like a street lamp or flagpole style support which is an option but I thought maybe either a frame like a scaffold kind of thing secured to the back of the shed might be a more sturdy option. What have you guys used to elevate your panels on a standalone frame, or have you seen any companies that sell good kits? I'm in BC in Canada as well. PG&E Aggregate Net Metering Application Help Earlier this year I completed a ground mount at a ranch in Paso Robles, CA. This ranch has two meters, requiring me to complete the PG&E’s Aggregate Net Metering Agreement. 8 months later my application has been rejected multiple times. I’ve spent dozens of hours on the phone with various support services with no solution. I’ve given it my all.
