Solar monitoring company sent me fake bills

Solar monitoring company sent me fake bills

My solar company was sending monthly bills, which I paid, as I am on a lease. The bill showed a monthly usage and they billed me based on the usage. I eventually figured it all out when I looked at my year end bill with my electric company that my solar system was offline for 11 months.

I had a solar repair guy come out to look at it and he confirmed it was dead and there is no way for any data to be sent to the solar monitoring company. So he confirmed that they were basically sending me fake bills.

He replaced the blown fuses and now the system works normally.

I opened up a ticket with my solar company and I explained to them the situation, and asked for a credit for what they billed me. They asked for proof of usage from my electric company which I sent.

They credited me back 2 months out of the 11 months that the system was down. Then they went dark and stopped responding to any of my emails or calls. Anytime I call in to support they just take my number and say they will call back, but never do.

Solar Supports

Solar Supports I'm looking at installing a solar system at our off grid cabin this spring and I'm trying to come up with a good way to get the panels up high enough to catch decent sunlight. The roof of the cabin is not an option as there are some trees blocking it but I do have a shed that I figure I'd be able to brace the supports to, I can't use the shed roof either as it's facing the wrong direction. A couple neighbors have systems which they've put on poles that go up sort of like a street lamp or flagpole style support which is an option but I thought maybe either a frame like a scaffold kind of thing secured to the back of the shed might be a more sturdy option. What have you guys used to elevate your panels on a standalone frame, or have you seen any companies that sell good kits? I'm in BC in Canada as well. PG&E Aggregate Net Metering Application Help Earlier this year I completed a ground mount at a ranch in Paso Robles, CA. This ranch has two meters, requiring me to complete the PG&E’s Aggregate Net Metering Agreement. 8 months later my application has been rejected multiple times.
