Solar installer: Cracks in ceiling drywall could potentially form

We live in a newly constructed home covered under 2-10 warranty. Our roof is flat and made of tar and gravel.
Structural engineers from the solar firm deemed the roof to be solar ready, but reported that the drywall on the ceiling may potentially crack in the future regardless whether solar panels are installed or not. I’m unsure if this is their way of avoiding responsibility in the future.
Our home builder doesn’t see any issues with installing solar, but foresee them attributing the cracks to the install and thus not covered by their warranty.
Any recommendations on what I can do to ensure that either the solar installer or builder covers the cost of drywall repair in the future?
