Solar Tax Credit expired per IRS website

Solar Tax Credit expired per IRS website

https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i5695

"Nonbusiness energy property credit has expired.

The nonbusiness energy property credit expired on December 31, 2017. "

My tax guy brought this up to me - yet everywhere I read still touts the 30% tax credit? Am I missing something?

UPDATE:

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i5695.pdf

It seems that it was specifically a property tax credit that has expired - the 30% credit for cost of system is still available (as described everywhere). Apologies if this was alarmist, but it's definitely confusing if you read the IRS website!
