NEC 2017, Ground Mount arrays, and rapid disconnects

For the situation of ground mount arrays, feeding DC into a building (shed) containing purely solar power related hardware, my reading of 690.12 is that I do not need any rapid shutdown hardware. The only connection to the house will be AC lines.

Is there any reason I should use rapid shutdown units (Tigo TS4s) for unshaded panels feeding 250V into charge controllers? The only thing I can think of is per-panel monitoring.
