Upfront or market prices for SRECs?

In Massachusetts with a 8.85kW system, with annual estimated production to be 7600 kWh. Sol Systems gave me an up-front SREC quote for around $7,000. We would put the money back into the house to make some improvements (adding a 2nd bathroom), which seems more tempting to me rather than getting a trickle of funds over the 10 year term. What are all your thoughts?

Under SREC II, we're in at the 0.8 rate, meaning I would generate 76MWh over 10 years, approx 60 SRECs. If prices stay around $280, it seems I should reject the upfront offer, but I'm not sure if they'll always be going for $280+, will price go down in later years?
