Solar sales rep question

I am having a hard time here deciding if I can work a commission based job.I don’t want to be a independent contractor because I don’t want to run a business and be considered a independent this having to separate all finances and open a business account.The thing is most solar company’s want to pay commission but to my surprise still offer benefits which is unusual as most commission based jobs don’t do benefits so am I missing something here? Are you guys considered employs or independents because according to federal laws a employ must have hours and have a pay structure towards those hours.So I would hope by a long shot if you guys are employs they are adding hours in to classify you as a employ.i was a reading s little bit and I just found out employs can actually be paid full commission but some how they have to connect it to hours regardless.

Solar Supports

Solar Supports I'm looking at installing a solar system at our off grid cabin this spring and I'm trying to come up with a good way to get the panels up high enough to catch decent sunlight. The roof of the cabin is not an option as there are some trees blocking it but I do have a shed that I figure I'd be able to brace the supports to, I can't use the shed roof either as it's facing the wrong direction. A couple neighbors have systems which they've put on poles that go up sort of like a street lamp or flagpole style support which is an option but I thought maybe either a frame like a scaffold kind of thing secured to the back of the shed might be a more sturdy option. What have you guys used to elevate your panels on a standalone frame, or have you seen any companies that sell good kits? I'm in BC in Canada as well. PG&E Aggregate Net Metering Application Help Earlier this year I completed a ground mount at a ranch in Paso Robles, CA. This ranch has two meters, requiring me to complete the PG&E’s Aggregate Net Metering Agreement. 8 months later my application has been rejected multiple times. I’ve spent dozens of hours on the phone with various support services with no solution. I’ve given it my all. Does anyone have any contacts for professionals who I can hire to complete this process for me? Or any tips for completing this process?
