Quote comparidon

I’m trying to compare two quotes:

One uses 33 panels, Silfab sla-M 300’s. The other uses 29 solaria powerxt 350r-pd panels. Both use solaredge optimizers.

The cost is quite similar, 15cents a watt apart. The solaria panel is more, and I’m being told that during the day times when trees provide some shade to my roof, the solaria panels can extract more energy than Silfab in the shade, overall watt rating taken into account. Installer said that the Silfab s just “shutoff” with lower light strength sooner than solaria panels.

I’m having trouble validating that, any advice or confirmation?

Also if anyone has a good spreadsheet they’d share, my goal is for a system that will cost me (solar loan payment+remainder of power bill) less than my monthly power bill, after year 1.

We are also considering rolling into the loan cost to seal and condition our attic to lower overall home electric usage.

Thoughts?
