Question about ITC and panel upgrades

Question about ITC and panel upgrades

So I'm looking into installing solar and have a bunch of quotes coming in. Seems to be converging towards VBHN330SA16 HIT panels and Solaredge optimizer/inverter. The thing is I have a south facing roof with no trees blocking - will it be better to go with the string inverter?

I most likely will have to upgrade my zinsco panel - can that additional cost be included when calculating the tax credit?

Aurora Inverter giving E050 error randomly The message requires a reset to get the inverter working again, but it's random - may happen a couple times a day, may skip a day or two. I have checked every connection, and even inside the inverter where the DC gets connected (2 arrays running). I tried turning off each array independently, but it continued for both lines at the same frequency. The only possible point of spark generation would be the connector box on the roof, which has wirenuts from the arrays themselves to the cable to the inverter. They are tight, but I went ahead and wrapped them with silicon tape (didn't help). Could the inverter itself have a problem?
