Solar panel to charge power bank in window. Worth it?

So I have a big power bank, 26,000 mAh. The idea is to stick a small solar panel in the window and let it keep the thing topped up. Ideally this would be done as cheaply and as small as possible. Worth it? Or am I wasting my time on a project like this?

I know you can get power banks with solar cells integrated, but sticking a Li Ion in the sun doesn't strike me as a particularly bright idea because batteries don't like heat, and especially because they always make the cases black, meaning that they will get even hotter than if they were white!

Ideally I would just run a six-inch cable to the thing to charge it. (I know, the longer the cable, the more energy you lose).
