Homeowner-scale site design/forecasting software?

Homeowner-scale site design/forecasting software?

I'm looking at a wide variety of options for mounting panels on my site, and am generally planning on "weird" stuff - some east/west facing panels, some south, on different strings. I'm aiming for a substantially off-grid capable system on a grid tied house, so I know it's going to be weird looking.

Short of doing a lot of PVWatts stuff and merging forecasts in a spreadsheet, is there any sort of homeowner-scale design package that isn't $100+/mo commercial software? I'd like to play with panel angles/placement and see what the forecasts do for production, with a goal of leveling out production throughout the day and, possibly, working with some existing structures (shipping container mount, perhaps).

If it could export one-wire diagrams, that would be super awesome too!
