On China Solar: Top Three Issues Facing the World’s Largest PV Market

According to the most recent data, China produced 170,000 tons of multicrystalline silicon during the first three quarters of 2017, a year-over-year increase of 17 percent. The country produced 62 GW of silicon chips during the same period, up 44 percent; 51 GW of batteries, up 50 percent; and 53 GW of components, up 43 percent from the same period of a year earlier. China witnessed a year-over-year increase of 39 percent and 34 percent in export volume of batteries and solar components for the first 8 months of the year, respectively. However, as a result of price declines, the combined export value decreased.

Aurora Inverter giving E050 error randomly The message requires a reset to get the inverter working again, but it's random - may happen a couple times a day, may skip a day or two. I have checked every connection, and even inside the inverter where the DC gets connected (2 arrays running). I tried turning off each array independently, but it continued for both lines at the same frequency. The only possible point of spark generation would be the connector box on the roof, which has wirenuts from the arrays themselves to the cable to the inverter. They are tight, but I went ahead and wrapped them with silicon tape (didn't help). Could the inverter itself have a problem?
