Off-grid solar tests

Hey,

I'm looking at an off-grid solar/storage (100kW+/160kWh+) solution with a diesel genset for back up.

What sort of commissioning tests should I be looking out for and should the PV have to pass a Performance Ratio test similar to grid connected?

The project is in central Africa.

Aurora Inverter giving E050 error randomly The message requires a reset to get the inverter working again, but it's random - may happen a couple times a day, may skip a day or two. I have checked every connection, and even inside the inverter where the DC gets connected (2 arrays running). I tried turning off each array independently, but it continued for both lines at the same frequency. The only possible point of spark generation would be the connector box on the roof, which has wirenuts from the arrays themselves to the cable to the inverter. They are tight, but I went ahead and wrapped them with silicon tape (didn't help). Could the inverter itself have a problem?
