MHI Vestas Selects US Facility to Test 9.5-MW Offshore Wind Turbine Nacelle

On Tuesday October 24, 2017 at the AWEA Offshore Wind Conference, wind turbine manufacturer MHI Vestas announced that it is making a $35 million investment with Clemson University to test its newest 9.5-MW gearbox at Clemson’s facility in Charleston, SC. The investment comes with a five-year contract and is an important first step for the manufacturer as it eyes the U.S. market.

Aurora Inverter giving E050 error randomly The message requires a reset to get the inverter working again, but it's random - may happen a couple times a day, may skip a day or two. I have checked every connection, and even inside the inverter where the DC gets connected (2 arrays running). I tried turning off each array independently, but it continued for both lines at the same frequency. The only possible point of spark generation would be the connector box on the roof, which has wirenuts from the arrays themselves to the cable to the inverter. They are tight, but I went ahead and wrapped them with silicon tape (didn't help). Could the inverter itself have a problem?
