SolarWorld Plans to Ramp up Solar Module Production in Light of ITC Ruling

On Monday, September 25, SolarWorld Americas announced that with the prospect of meaningful import relief close at hand, the company will begin ramping up production. It hopes to hire up to 200 workers by May.

On Friday, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted 4-0 in favor of a trade-case determination that a surge of imports has seriously injured the domestic solar cell and panel industry.  The vote means that the case, in which SolarWorld Americas and Suniva Inc. are co-petitioners, moves to a remedy phase.

Solar Supports

Solar Supports I'm looking at installing a solar system at our off grid cabin this spring and I'm trying to come up with a good way to get the panels up high enough to catch decent sunlight. The roof of the cabin is not an option as there are some trees blocking it but I do have a shed that I figure I'd be able to brace the supports to, I can't use the shed roof either as it's facing the wrong direction. A couple neighbors have systems which they've put on poles that go up sort of like a street lamp or flagpole style support which is an option but I thought maybe either a frame like a scaffold kind of thing secured to the back of the shed might be a more sturdy option. What have you guys used to elevate your panels on a standalone frame, or have you seen any companies that sell good kits? I'm in BC in Canada as well.
